Lenore Kieseling lives in Summerville, SC with her husband and nearby family. Taking inspiration from all the beauty of the Carolinas, she challenges herself with capturing as much of it as possible.

Coming from a family with a deep appreciation of art in all forms, Lenore Kieseling has created her own collection of works primarily designed but not limited to oil on canvas.

As a young girl, watching at the knee of her artist father, Lenore always marveled at the skill of recreating beauty by any means, or setting a mood with light and shadow on canvas but never trusted herself to develop the skill until later in life.

She dabbled in varied mediums going from workshop to workshop and class to class learning about clay, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, ink, paint and styles in both two- and three-dimensional works until the day she decided to try something on her own in oils (her father’s chosen medium) and found her way from a hobby to a passion. With the first stroke of white oil paint across the black canvas was an unexpected thrill of surprise as she found her place in the artistic world.
